Vulture Capitalist: The Video Game
I’m a fanboy for entrepreneurs and startups.
This passion mixed with my nostalgic love for the original Pokemon lead to the creation of Vulture Capitalist: The Video Game. In the game players work to conquer 8-bit Silicon Valley as power hungry Venture Capitalists. They battle their way to the top by raising promising tech startups.
I teamed up with a developer to create the Kickstarter. Although, we ended up being $4,000 shy of our goal, we did raise $11,000, had 150+ backers, were featured on Kickstarter and various gamer blogs, and were backed by the CEO of Kickstarter as well as two real VCs.

EARLY GAME ART
Originally I experimented with bright poppy colors, and even 3D. I end up deciding that the game would have a more iconic look if we stuck with a limited pallet based on the color of money.
